About Our Company
Founded by Mr. Karta in Surabaya, Agung Keramik began with a commitment to create durable, high-quality ceramic tableware for hotels and restaurants. Today, we continue that legacy by serving hospitality brands with custom and curated ceramic pieces designed for function, character, and long-term use.
With this determination, Mr. Karta established a workshop in Surabaya, which became the birthplace of Agung Keramik. By mentoring and training several ceramic craftsmen from scratch, Mr. Karta began producing a variety of high-quality ceramic tableware that was resistant to breakage or chipping, making it ideal for use in hotels, restaurants, and cafes, which require durability due to frequent changes of hands and daily washing.
All of our artists have been thoroughly trained in environmental design processes. We’re experts in historical preservation and make designing to compliment existing structures our main focus in all that we do.
After the Agung Keramik workshop was operational, Mr. Karta began approaching various hotels and restaurants to offer his products. Although not immediately successful, Agung Keramik began receiving orders from the HORECA (hotel, restaurant, and cafe) industry in various cities, not just Jakarta and Surabaya. For 30 years, Agung Keramik has been the preferred choice for many franchises, chain restaurants, and renowned hotels, producing products not only with beautiful designs but also with the highest quality.
